What happened: The Minnesota Timberwolves are sending Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania. The deal sends Williams back to Minnesota alongside Konchar in the swap for Green.

Why it matters: The move confirms terms Minnesota had already been finalizing, with the Timberwolves saving money in the swap. Green departs after a brief stay in Minnesota's backcourt mix, while Utah adds him as wing depth heading into 2026-27.

What to watch: Konchar becomes a free agent Monday at 5 p.m. ET after Minnesota waives and stretches his contract.
