Are the #titans getting an accurate assessment of Cam Ward this season? Because they need to before the 2027 draft. 'T Via @JamesPalmerTV on X

What happened: James Palmer asked whether Tennessee is getting an accurate assessment of Cam Ward this season. The conversation came on The 89 Show alongside Steve Smith Sr.

Why it matters: Tennessee holds a potential franchise decision entering the 2027 draft cycle. Getting the evaluation right determines whether quarterback becomes a draft need or a building block.

By the numbers: Ward completed 323 of 540 passes for 3,169 yards in 17 games in 2025. He totaled 15 touchdowns against 7 interceptions.

What to watch: Tennessee's remaining 2026 games will supply the evaluation tape. The 2027 draft order will clarify the options tied to that read.
