What happened: In a fan survey, 64% of Tennessee Titans respondents awarded an 'A' grade to the trade package received for defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Only 14% of voters assigned a failing grade to the deal, while 60% affirmed confidence in Tennessee's long-term trajectory.

Why it matters: The package marked an unprecedented haul for an interior defensive lineman, securing two first-round draft picks to accelerate Tennessee's roster reset around rookie quarterback Cam Ward. After Simmons joined the Bears on Oct. 29, Chicago bolstered its defensive front for a playoff push while Tennessee accumulated premier draft assets.

What to watch: Tennessee evaluates Ward's development as the franchise looks toward utilizing its future draft assets. Meanwhile, Chicago integrates Simmons into its defensive rotation for the second half of the regular season.
