What happened: The stop came on a two-point try during Monday night's matchup aired on ESPN. The failed conversion kept points off the board and preserved the margin.

Why it matters: Failed two-point tries tighten the math in one-score games by forcing extra possessions. Goal-line stops help a second-year lineman earn more short-yardage snaps.

What to watch: Upcoming goal-line packages will show how much trust he has earned in short yardage.
