What happened: T.J. Watt reached 120 career sacks, becoming just the fifth player in NFL history to record at least 120 sacks within his first 10 seasons. The milestone puts him alongside Reggie White, Jared Allen, DeMarcus Ware, and Myles Garrett. Watt entered the league in 2017 when Pittsburgh selected him 30th overall in the first round.

Why it matters: The milestone cements Watt's Hall of Fame trajectory among the premier pass rushers of his era. While questions surfaced earlier in the campaign, analysts like Palmer pointed to Watt's closing drives as proof his game-wrecking ability remains intact.

What to watch: Watt continues his climb up the all-time sack leaderboard through the second half of the 2026 regular season. His next milestone target is DeMarcus Ware at 127 sacks.
