What happened: Toronto FC coach Robin Fraser is projected to lean on his most experienced roster members during the club's upcoming fixtures. The manager is also considering inserting Gilman after the young defender capitalized on his earlier opportunities.

Why it matters: Relying on veteran leadership provides defensive stability during crucial moments of the campaign. Giving Gilman a role would accelerate the rookie's development and reward form shown in limited duty.

What to watch: Watch for Fraser to finalize his starting eleven ahead of kickoff to confirm Gilman's role.
