What happened: TSN Hockey released a quiz asking whether fans would prefer a duo of Auston Matthews and William Nylander, or Mitch Marner and Jack Eichel. It also questioned how much longer Sidney Crosby will play following Alex Ovechkin's announcement to retire at the end of the season.

Why it matters: Matthews, Nylander, Marner and Eichel rank among the most productive offensive players in the league. Crosby and Ovechkin defined the NHL for nearly two decades after entering the league together.
