THIS IS NOT A DRILL. TYLER SEGUIN IS BACK ON THE ICE. https://t.co/tKtPvqvgSV Via @DallasStars on X

What happened: The 34-year-old forward tore the ACL in his right knee on Dec. 2, 2025, then underwent surgery Dec. 16. He joined this week's informal captain's skate as his rehabilitation continued.

Why it matters: Seguin's participation level is a key camp variable after consecutive injury-shortened seasons. He enters the final year of an eight-year, $78.8 million contract.

By the numbers: Seguin recorded seven goals, 10 assists and a plus-10 rating in 27 games last season. He has played 47 regular-season games over the past two seasons, producing 38 points.

What to watch: Full-practice and preseason participation will provide the next indicators before the Oct. 2 opener.
