What happened: Junior Caminero struck the center-field scoreboard during pre-series batting sessions following Media Day obligations. The workout served as the final on-field tune-up 24 hours before the 2026 championship series begins.

Why it matters: The power display carries over from the league championship round, where Caminero belted a seventh-inning home run off the foul pole to push the ALCS Game 6 lead to 5-1. He steps onto the postseason's final stage after also recording the longest tracked MLB playoff home run trot earlier in October.

What to watch: Game 1 of the 2026 World Series gets underway within 24 hours of the workout.
