What happened: The Indiana Pacers host the Dallas Mavericks in Indianapolis with seventh-year guard Tyrese Haliburton back in the lineup wearing No. 0. Local television coverage for the Dallas market airs on KFAA29 and streams on MavsTV+, accompanied by a radio broadcast on 105.3 The Fan.

Why it matters: Haliburton's return to the home floor restores Indiana's lead playmaker in front of an Indianapolis crowd for the first time in over a year. Dallas looks to regroup on the road during the opening week of the 2026-27 regular season after dropping its opener on Wednesday.

By the numbers: Indiana enters at 1-0 after opening the campaign with a 123-120 road result on Oct. 21, while Dallas stands at 0-1 following a 128-110 road loss on the same night.

What to watch: Friday's matchup opens Indiana's home slate while Dallas looks to even its early-season record.
