What happened: Tyrese Maxey scored nine points on 4-of-4 shooting to open Saturday's game in Charlotte. The quick start provided Philadelphia with early offensive momentum.

Why it matters: Maxey carried the primary scoring load alongside a revamped starting rotation. His early efficiency remains central to Philadelphia's offense during the opening week of the regular season.

What to watch: Philadelphia looks to maintain that perimeter efficiency throughout the remainder of the road matchup.
