What happened: LA Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue announced at Intuit Dome practice Saturday that Isaiah Jackson will serve as the team's starting center for Week 1. When asked about the remaining four spots in the opening-night lineup, Lue joked that he could not remember who else would start.

Why it matters: Locking in Jackson at the five gives the Clippers entering their final weekend before 2026-27 tip-off at Intuit Dome a defined interior anchor while keeping their perimeter and forward rotations under wraps.

What to watch: Lue will finalize the remaining four starters ahead of the Clippers' 2026-27 regular-season opener.
