What happened: Bernard returns to Philadelphia’s practice squad after the final roster cutdown. The Eagles selected him with the 251st pick in April.

Why it matters: The move keeps Bernard in the organization as Philadelphia builds depth for the 2026 season. He had not played a football down nine months earlier.

What to watch: Bernard will continue working with the Eagles as practice-squad roles take shape before the opener.
