Philadelphia Union has acquired $150,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $50,000 in 2027 GAM, from St. Louis Via @PhilaUnion on X

What happened: St. Louis CITY SC will send $150,000 in 2026 GAM and $50,000 in 2027 GAM. Philadelphia could collect another $100,000 if the transaction’s conditions are met.

Why it matters: The deal gives Philadelphia Union flexible allocation funds for roster transactions. One-third of the potential package remains contingent.

By the numbers: Philadelphia receives $200,000 guaranteed across two league years: 75% in 2026 and 25% in 2027. The conditional payment would raise the total value by 50%, to $300,000.

What to watch: The remaining question is whether Philadelphia qualifies for the additional $100,000.
