What happened: Max Verstappen won the Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit from pole position. Charles Leclerc finished second and Kimi Antonelli third, with Lando Norris fourth and Oscar Piastri fifth.

Why it matters: The victory was Verstappen's first in Singapore and extended Red Bull's late-season surge. It tightened the standings fight for second heading into the Texas leg of the triple-header.

By the numbers: Verstappen converted P1 on the grid into P1 at the flag; Leclerc started second and finished second. Antonelli moved from fourth to third while Lewis Hamilton dropped from third to sixth. Norris finished fourth, Piastri fifth, Liam Lawson seventh and Nico Hulkenberg eighth.

What to watch: The paddock heads to Texas for the United States Grand Prix to open a triple-header. Verstappen carries consecutive victories into Austin.
