Victor Oladipo emotional after scout showcase workout in Las Vegas

Two-time All-Star hasn't played in a game since April 2023

What happened: Victor Oladipo worked out in front of NBA scouts and team personnel Tuesday in Las Vegas as part of a comeback bid. The 10-year veteran posted Wednesday morning that he was "beyond grateful" after appearing visibly emotional once the session ended.

Why it matters: Oladipo, a two-time All-Star, has not played in an NBA game since April 2023 after a run of injuries derailed his career. A showcase in front of scouts signals teams are willing to at least evaluate him again ahead of the 2026-27 season.

By the numbers: Oladipo's most recent action came in a 15-game stint with the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League this past season, his most recent step in trying to prove he can still contribute at the NBA level.

What to watch: Watch for reports on which teams were in attendance and whether any offer a training camp invite or contract before the 2026-27 season begins.
