What happened: The Minnesota Vikings finalized their Sunday game-day inactive designations ahead of their scheduled regular-season matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The pregame roster lock follows Saturday's activation of running back Jordan Mason from injured reserve with no injury designation and the practice-squad elevation of running back DeeJay Dallas.

Why it matters: Minnesota enters Sunday's scheduled 0-0 contest holding a 5-0 record and the No. 2 seed in the NFC standings. Mason's return after his October injured reserve stint restores depth alongside Aaron Jones Sr. in the Vikings' backfield rotation.

What to watch: Minnesota and Indianapolis are scheduled for Sunday kickoff with the game yet to start at 0-0.
