WALK'S WITH US‼️ WELCOME TO THE SHOW, WALKER JENKINS! https://t.co/zP47L75CxB Via @Twins on X

What happened: The promotion became official Thursday. Jenkins went 2-for-4 with a home run in his final Triple-A game Wednesday.

Why it matters: The move gives Minnesota a month-long look at Jenkins against major-league pitching before offseason roster planning. Promoting him before September also uses a 26-man roster spot immediately.

By the numbers: Jenkins batted .411 with a .488 on-base percentage and .795 slugging percentage across 73 August at-bats at Triple-A. He hit eight home runs and drove in 13 runs during that span.

What to watch: His first lineup assignment and defensive position are the next decisions to watch.
