What happened: Walker Kessler was getting up free throws after Lakers practice with his left pinky finger wrapped, per Khobi Price. RotoWire lists the center's finger and has him as a full participant in Sunday's practice.

Why it matters: Kessler is the center the Lakers are counting on to anchor their defense in 2026-27. A full practice with the wrap suggests the finger has not limited his workload.

What to watch: Watch whether the wrap carries into Lakers preseason games and whether the finger shows up on an injury report.
