What happened: Ed Werder joined Junior Miller and George Dunham for his weekly Tuesday 7:55 a.m. CT appearance during the 2026 season. The Tuesday series continues through the Super Bowl.

Why it matters: Dallas added Mike Pettine to aid the defense amid the slide. Philadelphia signed Joe Milton off the Dallas practice squad, thinning quarterback depth.

By the numbers: Dallas is 2-3 with league-worst EPA per drive; allowed 419 total yards and 24 points to Tampa Bay in Week 5.

What to watch: Dallas looks to stabilize defensively in its next regular-season test.
