What happened: The Chicago White Sox claimed infielder Graham Pauley off waivers from Miami on Monday. In corresponding roster moves, Chicago outrighted left-handed pitcher Ky Bush and outfielder Junior Perez to Class AAA Charlotte.

Why it matters: The moves adjust Chicago's 40-man roster as the club reshapes its positional depth entering the offseason. Pauley adds versatile infield depth with an opportunity to compete for regular playing time.

What to watch: The White Sox will continue refining their 40-man roster ahead of winter roster-protection deadlines.
