What happened: Young and Rousseau share second place on the Week 7 sack leaderboard behind Anderson, per PFF. Anderson also topped PFF's edge-defender grading at 92.8 earlier in October while pacing the pass-rush leaderboard.

Why it matters: Young is already past the halfway mark of his 2025 output, when the 2020 No. 2 overall draft pick posted 10 sacks across 12 games per ESPN. Rousseau led edge rushers with a 30.6% win rate in September and has converted that pressure rate into six sacks after recording seven across 16 games in 2025.

By the numbers: 2026 NFL sack leaders (per PFF): Will Anderson 7.0, Chase Young 6.0, Greg Rousseau 6.0. 2025 season totals (per ESPN): Young recorded 38 tackles and 10 sacks in 12 games; Rousseau recorded 46 tackles and 7 sacks in 16 games.

What to watch: Young needs four sacks over the remainder of the 2026 regular season to match his 2025 total, while Rousseau needs two to surpass his 2025 mark.
