What happened: A'Ja Wilson is listed as questionable and Satou Sabally is ruled out for the WNBA Commissioner's Cup Championship between the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty. Sabally's absence removes a frontcourt starter from New York's rotation, while Wilson's availability remains uncertain heading toward tip-off.

Why it matters: Both contenders head into the title game shorthanded up front, putting added weight on bench depth and interior matchups. Wilson anchors Las Vegas on both ends, so her designation would reshape the Aces' frontcourt plan, while Satou Sabally being sidelined thins New York's wing-and-forward options for a marquee game.

What to watch: Watch for Wilson's final injury designation at tip-off and how Las Vegas adjusts its interior rotation if she is limited or unavailable. New York will need added frontcourt production to offset Sabally's absence.
