What happened: The Washington Wizards are signing Reece Beekman to a two-way NBA contract, per Shams Charania of ESPN. The move converts Beekman's Exhibit 10 deal into the franchise's final available two-way roster spot.

Why it matters: Locking in the final two-way slot rounds out Washington's developmental depth during the 2026-27 preseason after selecting AJ Dybantsa first overall in the 2026 draft. Two-way conversions allow the Wizards to retain roster flexibility while splitting player time between the NBA club and their G League affiliate.

What to watch: Beekman will join the active two-way rotation as the Wizards conclude their 2026-27 preseason slate.
