What happened: Milwaukee brought Nance back on a two-way deal on Oct. 20 for the 2026-27 season. The move comes three days after Milwaukee requested waivers on Nance ahead of the roster cutoff.

Why it matters: Two-way slot keeps Nance in the organization while preserving standard roster flexibility before opening night. It restores a frontcourt option after preseason cuts trimmed camp invites.

What to watch: Nance will be eligible to split time between Milwaukee and its G League affiliate pending final roster decisions.
