What happened: The Yankees signaled they were on the move toward Tampa Bay as their ALDS trip got underway. The travel note aligns with a Division Series stop after postseason game times were announced.

Why it matters: The destination matters because Tampa Bay already wrapped up the AL East, so the opening round starts on the road against a division winner. It also pushes the Yankees' recent #RepBX October buildup from teaser mode into an actual postseason trip.

What to watch: Watch for the Yankees' travel roster and pitching plans once the club arrives. Those decisions will give the clearest read on how the ALDS matchup is being lined up.
