What happened: Keion White has an adductor injury, Cameron Sample has a knee injury, and Romello Height and Mikail Kamara also missed Saturday’s practice. Mykel Williams remains on the active/PUP list, while Nick Bosa continues his recovery.

Why it matters: The absences left San Francisco with two healthy edge rushers for practice. Okoronkwo previously played for Raheem Morris with the Los Angeles Rams and later spent time with the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles.

What to watch: San Francisco will decide whether to add Okoronkwo before its next training-camp practice.
