What happened: Aaron Gordon's play from the 2025 tournament circulated across league channels on Friday. The promotional look-back precedes the start of the 2026 Emirates NBA Cup schedule.

Why it matters: Group play sets the field for the eight-team single-elimination knockout stage. Gordon, who noted Denver operates at its peak when fully available, figures prominently in the frontcourt entering tournament competition.

What to watch: Denver and Phoenix tip off their West Group A opener at 10 p.m. ET on NBA League Pass.
