What happened: The Las Vegas Aces have arrived in Dallas for tonight's Commissioner's Cup matchup, set for 8 p.m. ET on USA Network. Las Vegas enters on a six-game winning streak and sits at 11-4 on the season. A spot in the Cup Championship Game representing the Western Conference is on the line.

Why it matters: Las Vegas has been the league's hottest team of late, having won its last five outright while building one of the WNBA's stingiest defenses. A berth in the Commissioner's Cup final would add a midseason trophy opportunity to a campaign already trending toward title contention. The stakes are heightened by the opponent: Dallas has handled the Aces in both prior meetings this year.

By the numbers: Las Vegas enters at 11-4, riding a six-game winning streak and averaging 91.7 points while allowing 87.0. Dallas has taken both head-to-head meetings this season, 95-87 on May 28 and 101-84 on May 3. The Aces' biggest win of the year came at Connecticut, 98-69, on May 13.

What to watch: Tip-off is 8 p.m. ET on USA Network. The outcome decides which side carries the Western Conference banner into the Commissioner's Cup Championship Game.
