What happened: The New England Patriots added A.J. Brown to an offense led by Drake Maye. Their early chemistry gives the quarterback a proven outside target who demands extra attention.

Why it matters: Maye led the NFL in completion percentage, passer rating, total QBR and EPA during the 2025 regular season. Brown added 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, giving New England the established perimeter threat its passing game needed.
