What happened: Al Horford is competing in his 20th NBA campaign during the 2026-27 season. The milestone marks one of the longest careers for an active center in modern league history.

Why it matters: Horford's longevity provides interior depth and veteran leadership to the rotation. Sustained availability across two decades places him in rare historical company.

What to watch: Golden State continues its regular-season slate as the coaching staff manages frontcourt minutes for Horford across back-to-back sets.
