What happened: Draymond Green will sit out Sunday against the LA Clippers for injury management on the front end of a back-to-back set. Al Horford is scheduled to play against the LA Clippers before resting the following evening. Green is slated to return Monday night when the schedule continues against the Phoenix Suns.

Why it matters: The alternating rest plan manages veteran workloads across consecutive game nights. Draymond Green continues to have his court time monitored during congested schedule stretches to preserve physical durability. Keeping Horford fresh for matchup-specific assignments provides interior stability while navigating early-season travel.

What to watch: The LA Clippers host the Sunday matchup before action turns to the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Official active designations will be confirmed ahead of tipoff.
