What happened: Britain's Alisha Palmowski built an unassailable points lead at Circuit of the Americas during the United States Grand Prix weekend. Palmowski called the championship a 'dream come true' after sealing the season crown early.

Why it matters: Wrapping up the championship with three races to spare reflects the consistent pace Palmowski carried from round to round across the 2026 campaign.

What to watch: Palmowski will contest the final three races of the 2026 F1 Academy calendar with the title already decided.
