What happened: Allisha Gray was whistled for her third personal foul in the opening quarter, forcing an immediate substitution to the bench.

Why it matters: Three fouls in the first period create immediate rotation pressure and restrict Allisha Gray from playing normal first-half minutes. The early foul trouble arrives a day after she credited golf with helping her maintain patience during the WNBA Finals.

What to watch: Gray's second-quarter usage will hinge on avoiding a fourth foul before halftime.
