What happened: Allisha Gray stated she is feeling well physically following her return to the court in Saturday's Game 1 loss, per Madisyn Cunn of Winsidr. Gray had been cleared to play earlier Saturday after undergoing a minor left hand procedure, following an earlier questionable designation during the postseason.

Why it matters: Coming out of the series opener without a setback stabilizes the backcourt rotation heading into Game 2 after Golden State took a 1-0 lead in the 2026 WNBA Finals. Gray noted she is disappointed with the Game 1 defeat and is turning her focus to film study ahead of the next matchup.

By the numbers: Gray reached 11 points and connected on her first 3-pointer during Saturday's Finals opener while Gabby Williams paced Golden State with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 three-pointers.

What to watch: Atlanta looks to even the WNBA Finals at 1-1 in Game 2 with Gray expected to remain in the lineup.
