What happened: All four designations keep the players on the active roster while preventing them from practicing. They can be activated once medically cleared.
Why it matters: The moves leave two defensive ends and two cornerbacks unavailable for the start of camp. A transfer to reserve/PUP at roster cutdown would require a minimum four-game absence.
By the numbers: Wise, Armstrong and Amos sustained season-ending injuries in Weeks 2, 7 and 10 of the 2025 season, respectively. Armstrong led the team in sacks before his knee injury.
What to watch: Training camp begins July 29. Their participation status will determine whether any designation extends into the regular season.
