What happened: Anthony Gill and Khris Middleton joined John Thompson III on Tuesday to deliver a civic message encouraging Washington, D.C., residents to vote on Election Day. The public appeal directed community members to locate their designated polling stations and participate in local and national races.

Why it matters: The outreach builds on a broader league effort after Gill and Middleton partnered with the NBA for a civic voting initiative ahead of the November election. The league-wide campaign emphasizes ballot access and civic engagement across host communities.

What to watch: Polling locations across the region remain open through Tuesday evening. League programs will continue monitoring community engagement and voter education efforts.
