What happened: The Athletics highlighted a standout performance from a player they called "Zack" as part of their #VoteAthletics campaign for the 2026 KONAMI eBaseball MLB All-Star ballot. The team's social post leaned on the individual showing to drive fan voting ahead of upcoming games.

Why it matters: The Athletics sit at .500 and have been leaning into offensive highlights to fuel their ongoing All-Star ballot campaign. Roster recognition and fan engagement carry added weight for a club still working to stay in the playoff picture in the second half.

What to watch: The Athletics host the Pittsburgh Pirates next, with Pittsburgh listed as a modest underdog. Watch whether the offense that powered the ballot push carries over against a Pirates club fresh off a Bryan Reynolds multi-homer night.
