What happened: Tyson Bagent added a rushing burst to an efficient passing performance. He had missed the previous preseason game after posting 169 passing yards on Aug. 15.

Why it matters: The showing reinforces his value as quarterback depth entering the 2026 season. His two-year, $10 million extension runs through 2027, providing contractual stability at the position.

By the numbers: Across two 2026 preseason appearances, Bagent is 26-of-36 for 359 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

What to watch: Attention turns to how the finale shapes quarterback depth decisions before Week 1.
