Going live in 10 minutes to discuss Walker Kessler's debut and LA's second-half collapse: https://t.co/gT76cTXMM4 https: Via @jovanbuha on X

What happened: Los Angeles met Golden State in Las Vegas during 2026-27 preseason play. Kessler drew the start at center with Doncic sidelined. The offense stalled after halftime and surrendered control.

Why it matters: The staff is evaluating Kessler as a full-time paint anchor beside its creators. How the second unit protects leads without the starters will shape opening-week rotation choices.

By the numbers: Kessler: 11 PTS, 9 REB, AST, STL, BLK in preseason debut vs Warriors.

What to watch: Los Angeles gets another preseason look at the Kessler lineups before opening-week rotation calls.
