What happened: Ben Saraf is set to wear jersey No. 77 entering the 2026-27 NBA preseason. Saraf previously stated that he selected the number 77 because it signifies luck in Hebrew.

Why it matters: The jersey confirmation comes as Saraf transitions from his July Summer League debut into preseason preparations. Assigning official uniform numbers alongside Chaney Johnson wearing No. 31 marks the finalization of preseason roster details.

What to watch: Saraf will take the floor in No. 77 as the 2026-27 preseason schedule continues.
