What happened: The Buffalo Bills elevated safety Geno Stone and cornerback A.J. Woods from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo also signed defensive back Te'Cory Couch to the active roster. Both elevations provide immediate secondary depth for the Week 8 matchup.

Why it matters: Stone faces his former team after being drafted by Baltimore in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The roster additions reinforce Buffalo's defensive backfield for a critical conference clash. The elevations allow Buffalo to bolster special teams and sub-package coverage without burning standard roster spots.

What to watch: Buffalo hosts Baltimore on Sunday, with inactive lists finalized 90 minutes before kickoff. Stone and Woods will revert to the practice squad on Monday unless signed to the 53-man roster.
