What happened: The Buffalo Bills announced offensive tackle Spencer Brown as their nominee for the 2026 NFL Salute to Service Award on Thursday. The annual honor recognizes NFL personnel who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to military personnel and veterans.

Why it matters: Brown, a 2021 third-round draft selection out of Northern Iowa, joins nominees representing all 32 NFL clubs. Each club selects one candidate each season to recognize service efforts within their local and military communities.

What to watch: Fan voting and an evaluation panel will determine three finalists before the league presents the award during NFL Honors in February.
