What happened: Spencer Brown, who previously met with reporters after practice on Oct. 8, spoke at the podium after Wednesday's Oct. 28 workout concluded. Beat writers Joe Buscaglia and Jay Skurski noted that the offensive tackle was not on the practice field during the open portion of the session.

Why it matters: Midweek availability provides an early check on offensive line participation during the 2026 NFL regular season. Selected 93rd overall in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Northern Iowa (as of 2026-09-29), Brown anchors the starting right tackle spot.

What to watch: Wednesday's official practice participation report will clarify Brown's designation for the remainder of the week.
