What happened: A former NFL general manager urged the Minnesota Vikings to acquire a quarterback via trade, citing Kyler Murray's recent level of play amid offensive struggles. The proposal argued that Minnesota needs an upgrade under center to stabilize its passing attack.

Why it matters: Minnesota continues to search for offensive rhythm following a 19-15 loss to the Detroit Lions on Nov. 1. The critique follows previous external scrutiny this season when Rex Ryan challenged Murray to deliver for the Vikings.

What to watch: The Vikings continue regular-season preparations while monitoring Murray, who remains listed as questionable with a sore hamstring.
