What happened: Dallas holds third place in PFF's 2026 regular-season scoring-drive rankings at 49.1%, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs at 47.3% and the Indianapolis Colts at 47.0%. Just 2.1 percentage points separate third through fifth place among the league's five most consistent scoring offenses.

Why it matters: The leaderboard reflects a sharp shift since Oct. 8, when the Cowboys led the NFL by scoring on 61.1% of their drives before dropping 12 percentage points over the past two weeks. Buffalo's climb to first aligns with its league-best 2.84 offensive points per drive and a tie with Detroit for the overall scoring lead.

By the numbers: 2026 NFL scoring-drive rate leaders (per PFF): Buffalo Bills 56.5%, Detroit Lions 52.8%, Dallas Cowboys 49.1% (61.1% on Oct. 8), Kansas City Chiefs 47.3%, Indianapolis Colts 47.0%. Buffalo offensive points per drive: 2.84 (1st in NFL).

What to watch: Buffalo and Detroit enter Week 7 as the only NFL offenses converting more than half of their possessions into points ahead of the Nov. 10 in-season trade cutoff.
