What happened: The Atlanta Braves posted a Father's Day greeting to their fan base on Sunday. The message went out as the club prepared for the finale of its current home series.

Why it matters: The note lands with Atlanta in strong form at 48-27 and holding a 2-0 lead in the series. A win-now Braves club has leaned on its home crowd, and the holiday outreach keeps the fan base engaged during a key stretch of the schedule.

By the numbers: Atlanta enters the day 48-27, averaging 5.0 runs per game while allowing 3.6. The Braves have taken the first two games of the series and ride a two-game winning streak.
