Seven straight wins vs. the Reds 😈 #ThisIsMyCrew x @UWCreditUnion https://t.co/YxGqCBn3Xq

What happened: The Milwaukee Brewers posted a sponsored social message touting seven straight wins over the Cincinnati Reds, tagged with #ThisIsMyCrew and a UW Credit Union promotion. It is the latest in a run of sponsored posts in which the club has leaned into its hot stretch. The message landed ahead of another scheduled meeting between the NL Central clubs.

Why it matters: Milwaukee, at 51-31, has controlled the season series and sits well ahead of Cincinnati, which is 39-44 and has scuffled to keep pace. The lopsided head-to-head underscores the gap between the two clubs as the summer schedule rolls on. The Brewers lead the season series 6-0.

By the numbers: Recent head-to-head: MIL 4, CIN 2 (7/1); MIL 7, CIN 2 (6/30); MIL 5, CIN 3 (6/29); MIL 6, CIN 5 (6/24); MIL 2, CIN 0 (6/23). Milwaukee has outscored Cincinnati across those meetings, averaging 5.2 runs while allowing 3.7 on the season.

What to watch: The teams meet again in a scheduled matchup; watch whether Cincinnati can snap its recent slide against Milwaukee.
