What happened: Ian Rapoport noted Brian Branch's return to game action Sunday as Detroit faced Green Bay. The Lions cleared both Branch and center Cade Mays on Saturday, with Mays coming off injured reserve after a camp wrist fracture.

Why it matters: Branch rejoined Detroit's practice slate in early October after missing September action alongside defensive back Kerby Joseph. Drafted 45th overall out of Alabama in 2023, he restores a key piece to Dan Campbell's secondary for NFC North play.

What to watch: Postgame snap counts will indicate whether Detroit keeps Branch on a pitch count in his first game back.
