What happened: Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll praised quarterback Cam Ward's daily preparation and fourth-quarter execution, noting the quarterback serves as his own toughest critic. Daboll emphasized that Ward continues to put in relentless daily work to refine his late-game performance.

Why it matters: Establishing fourth-quarter poise remains vital for the offense after high preseason expectations surrounded the Daboll-Ward pairing. With Tennessee holding a 1-6 record ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, Ward's development in high-leverage situations serves as the team's primary offensive foundation.

What to watch: Tennessee continues its regular-season slate as Daboll works to translate fourth-quarter execution into late-game offensive production.
